Terms of Use

5 Minute Mail provides receive-only, temporary email inboxes. By using the service, you agree to use it lawfully, respect other services' rules, and accept that temporary messages may expire or fail to arrive.

Permitted use

You may use a temporary inbox for ordinary low-risk tasks such as a test signup, a one-time download link, or a newsletter preview. You remain responsible for the information you receive and for complying with the terms of any website where you enter the address.

A website may reject disposable domains. Do not use this service to evade a site's access controls, account limits, age checks, paid features, bans, or identity-verification requirements.

Prohibited use

You may not use 5 Minute Mail to:

  • commit fraud, impersonation, harassment, or account takeover;
  • send spam or operate a bulk account-registration workflow;
  • receive or distribute illegal, infringing, or abusive material;
  • probe, overload, scrape, or disrupt the service or its providers;
  • bypass another service's technical controls or published policy; or
  • attempt to read an inbox without its valid session credentials.

Temporary service limits

Inboxes are designed to expire. The service does not promise permanent storage, message recovery, a specific sender's delivery, uninterrupted availability, or compatibility with every website. Email can be delayed, filtered, rejected, malformed, or removed when the mailbox timer ends.

The service may set rate limits, message limits, maximum session length, or other safeguards to control abuse and operating cost. An inbox may be suspended or removed when activity threatens the service, its users, or its providers.

Sensitive data and account recovery

Do not use a temporary address for banking, healthcare, government, employment, legal matters, payment receipts, or any account you may need to recover. Temporary inboxes are not intended for secrets or long-term identity.

You are responsible for copying any information you are allowed to keep before the inbox expires. 5 Minute Mail cannot restore an expired session or prove that another system deleted its copy of a message.

Availability and changes

The service is provided as available, without a guarantee that it will be error-free or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent allowed by law, 5 Minute Mail is not responsible for losses caused by delayed, rejected, exposed, or expired messages.

Features, limits, providers, and these terms may change. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a revised date. If you do not accept the current terms, stop using the service.
