What is a temporary email address?
It is a short-lived inbox you can use when a site requires an email address but you do not want to share your personal mailbox.
How long does an inbox last?
The default session lasts five minutes. You can add time in five-minute increments up to the configured limit.
Can I send email from 5 Minute Mail?
No. This service is receive-only. That keeps the product simpler and reduces abuse risk.
Why did my message not arrive?
Delivery depends on the sender, DNS, and the inbound provider. In production, SendGrid posts accepted email to our webhook and the inbox refreshes every few seconds.
